 Today I played quick and smooth game in the main line in 10+30 sek time control. 1. d4 d5 2. e4 dxe4  3. Nc3 Nf6  4. f3 exf3  5. Nxf3 Bg4 The Teichmann Defence. One of the most popular black's choice.  6. h3 you have to do something with that annoying pin, here the best is to play h3 and put a question mark to you opponent - what are you gonna to do with you bishop? Bh5  7. g4 Bg6  8. Ne5 e6 and despite the fact I didn't pla a book move, I don't think that h4 here is a big inaccuracy. Later on, I have steer the game into the BDG proper :)  9. h4 h5? This creates serious positional weaknesses. That is the most common mistake, made by 80 % of all players, especially on the club level. It is justified - black is affraid that after f4-f5 he will lose his bishop.  10. Nxg6 fxg6 and here those g6, e6, f7 squares will reamins weak to the rest of my opponent's game (not life:) Now I will show you how to use those weaknesses and win game easily. ...

Blackmar-Diemer Gambit in my honest opinion is one of the most exciting gambit in chess ever! It gives you an agressive and sharp position. It is a pure gambit, white don't want to win back a pawn, but instead have something for that. Sometimes you will have the initiative, sometimes an attack, sometimes better coordination of the pieces, and sometime...well...nothing :D But don't worry, in order to achieve that, black will have to give up his material advantage (which is a pawn of course). Yes there are some secret lines in which black can even be more ambitious and try to keep his advantage and proove that our lovely gambit is unsound. About that I will write at the end of theoretical part. My adventure with that exciting opening started right after my come back in chess. As a small kid I played chess with big interest, winning prizes and tournaments. But life has written different scenario for me and I had to start working and then at the studies I lost interest of that game...
