Instructive and smooth main line game.
Today I played quick and smooth game in the main line in 10+30 sek time control.
1. d4 d5
2. e4 dxe4
3. Nc3 Nf6
4. f3 exf3
5. Nxf3 Bg4
The Teichmann Defence. One of the most popular black's choice.
6. h3 you have to do something with that annoying pin, here the best is to play h3 and put a question mark to you opponent - what are you gonna to do with you bishop? Bh5
7. g4 Bg6
8. Ne5 e6
and despite the fact I didn't pla a book move, I don't think that h4 here is a big inaccuracy. Later on, I have steer the game into the BDG proper :)
9. h4 h5?
This creates serious positional weaknesses. That is the most common mistake, made by 80 % of all players, especially on the club level. It is justified - black is affraid that after f4-f5 he will lose his bishop.
10. Nxg6 fxg6
and here those g6, e6, f7 squares will reamins weak to the rest of my opponent's game (not life:) Now I will show you how to use those weaknesses and win game easily.
11. g5 Ng4
12. Bg2 c6
So I managed to achieve the same position, like I would play 9. Bg2 c6 and then 10. h4 (I should play that according to my preparation)
13. Qd3 Qd6
14. Rf1 Qc7?! If you have decided to play for counterplay you should stick to your plan, not to retreat now.
15. Qxg6+ Kd8
16. Bf4
e5 an interesting way of striking in the center. I must secure my king, and then declare that black king in the center is a naked one.
17. dxe5! Nxe5
18. O-O-O+ Nbd7
I think it is visible that king hunt is coming. White has all pieces developped, my majesty is safe, black king is not and his pieces are undeveloped- rooks are disconnected, left and right side are poorly developed.
19. Rxd7+! Kxd7
20. Bh3+ Kd8
21. Rd1+
Here my opponent resigned.
1-0
